    vintage vibe
    clean spaces

Stayed one night and really enjoyed the vintage victorian vibe. The room was spotless and the high ceilings made it feel so spacious. Plus, those reading nooks throughout the hotel were just perfect for relaxing, I mean, who doesn't love a good book before sleep? It felt so welcoming. Also, the fact that we had on-site parking was a huge plus since it was tough to find elsewhere in the area.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but worth it for the experience.

    historic hotel
    perfect location
    vintage decor
    no elevator
    heavy luggage

Overall, it was a good stay in a charming old hotel that had a perfect downtown location for our whale-watching tour. The atmosphere was filled with history, and the decor made it a unique experience. While the absence of an elevator was tough, especially with heavy luggage, the beautiful decor and the nearby restaurant options made it worthwhile. I enjoyed the vintage features and the cozy setting, making it a memorable trip.

The cozy Victorian hotel offers unique charm. room 9A was lovely with a spacious bathroom, perfect for our anniversary getaway. Sitting in the library next to the festive tree was a delightful touch, and the comfort of our bed ensured restful nights. Breakfast featured delicious buttermilk biscuits, although the parking situation could be improved for better accessibility.

Our stay at The Palace Hotel was simply wonderful! The room was beautifully adorned with antique furnishings and had a cozy kitchenette that made it easy to prepare light meals. The hotel's historical ambiance added to the charm, and we loved being able to walk to all the local shops and restaurants.

There was no elevator, which could be a challenge for some.

    breathtaking views
    cozy room

    too soft sofa

    Charming spot with great views

We had a cozy 2-night stay in the Crow's Nest room. The views were breathtaking and we loved the full kitchen for breakfast. The decor was quirky and delightful! Just note, the sofa was super soft and made it tricky to sit comfortably. Still a lovely place to relax and explore the nearby shops.

Charming Victorian decor, comfy bed, and squeaky clean bathroom! Perfect location near everything. Loved the cozy game parlor vibe too—felt like home!

The bar's empty bottle Olympic event at 2 AM was a tad too lively for my liking!

    cozy guest lounge
    fan noise

Staying here was such a treat! The quirky charm of our spacious room made us feel like we were stepping back in time, and enjoying the cozy guest lounge with board games was a highlight too. Just a heads up, the fan noise might keep some light sleepers awake, but it didn’t ruin our wonderful experience! 😊

    parking challenges

I visited this charming old hotel and checked into the top-level suite with large windows showcasing the street and water views. The place is a historic treasure and was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. I could feel the history surrounding it, which added to my overall experience.

The absence of an elevator made the stairs challenging after a long day of hiking. The parking situation could be tricky during busy times.

    elegant room

I have to say, the management was incredibly helpful and friendly. The grand staircases made me feel like I was stepping into a classic movie. Plus, we had a lovely room with huge windows that allowed us to soak up all that glorious natural light!

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still acceptable for what we got.

    great view
    easy check-in

Just a balanced option for a cursory stop in Port Townsend with great value for the money. Easy check in and out. The room had a nice view of the water. Consider asking for a room away from main street if you're staying during peak times.
